The National Hospital Insurance Fund ( NHIF ) is a state-owned parastatal whose mandate is to provide Kenyans over the age of 18 years and above with quality health insurance. 

The insurance company was founded in 1966 and its headquarters is in Nairobi. Across the country NHIF has 61 branches which are fully autonomous. 

Below is a list of NHIF new rates for both employed workers in Kenya.
